Scriptures You Can Pray Today - Part 3
Psalm 19:7-14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my rock and Redeemer.” (Ps. 19:14)
A benefit of prayer is that we express ideas to God that then strengthen our faith and trust in God because of the reminder those ideas give us of God’s faithfulness.
It’s a practice that we learned specifically when we started taking a mastery view of homeschooling. We stopped grading and worked until the information was mastered. This was done by going through a process of reading, writing, building, and teaching.
It’s something we do in many areas of our lives, we just don’t name it. We do it.
In Math it looks like this:
Read the lesson.
Work the examples given.
Build or write your own examples.
Come walk (teach) mom through the concept learned.
If you can read it (comprehend it), repeat what was taught, apply it to a different example, and then teach it to someone else you have mastered a concept.
I see prayer working on us in this way.
