In today’s episode spend some time looking at Amos the prophet.
Hosea was asked to do a hard thing. Marry a woman who will not be faithful to the marriage. Raise children with her, probably not knowing if they are yours or not, but raise them anyway. Then marry again, this time to a woman enslaved to harlotry. But redeem her life and demand that she live faithfully towards you as you will towards her. All this to show these nations what kind of God loves and cares for them.
Hosea’s obedience has a lot of lessons to teach us about being obedient to God and trusting in forgiveness. Take a listen and then share your thoughts. What did Hosea teach you?
