In today’s episode spend some time looking at Josiah, King of Judah.
King Josiah becomes king about 80 years after his great-grandfather good King Hezekiah. His grandfather, Manasseh, made a pretty big mess of things with all the sin he brought into Judah. So much so that God declared Judah would go the same way as Israel, and would go into captivity because of Manasseh’s sins.
But Josiah was different.
Today’s episode explores how Josiah was different than most other kings, even of Judah. He and Hezekiah are real stand outs.
2 Kings 23:25 says, “Before him there was no king like him who turned to the Lord with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to the law of Moses; nor did any like him arise after him.”
Spend a few minutes exploring what God chose to share about this king and consider what lessons you can learn, and apply, for your own walk with the Lord.
