There are many ways to support their efforts, but the simplest is to become a “Heartbeat Hero” with a monthly donation that provides ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and a lifeline to pregnant moms in need.
Turn Away No Longer
Turn Away No Longer (TANL) is a charity that works to support children who are in the foster care system in Indiana.
When they get word of child who needs a place to go due to no fault of their own, they jump into action to provide a place for them to sleep, make sure they have the clothes they need, and a place to go that is safe. These children get pulled away from their families and thrown into the arms of strangers, which is incredibly scary. TANL wants to ease the fear as much as possible for these children.
TANL has recently opened a home near where I live, for those children who have nowhere to go those first nights. When there is no family to take them or no foster families ready to take them, TANL offers a bed, food, and clothes. Most importantly they offer them a calm place to land while some of the worst times of their young lives are just beginning.
They also offer a special store where foster kids can come shop, for free and in private, to get what they need and maybe find a special toy to bring them comfort.
I encourage you to support them in anyway that you can - or look to see if you have a similar type of group working in your area to accomplish this mission.
Young Living Essential Oils
When I started my journey to deal with the inflammatory issues caused by Chronic Lyme Disease et al thirteen years ago, I knew it was going to involve medications. I had never been prone to taking medications and I wanted to do everything I could to keep the toxins from building up in my system, as well as to avoid destroying the bacteria in my gut along the way. I love how they bring solutions that fit the area where they are. They do not do the exact same thing in every location. Different places have different needs. The Young Living Foundation gets to know the people in the area, learns what they are needing, and then help them find ways to move away from the problems. They do not just give donations. They teach them how to build lives they can sustain where they are. Beautiful!
